So there are no bovines involved! <br /><br />A bit of history: My use of the term "COW" goes back to my days as a pathology resident where I was involved in the Pathology Interest Group (or PIG). We started a pathology COW, and therefore had a very animal-themed organization! I was involved in creating the weekly COW, and carried this into my days as a Clinical Microbiologist when I became the Director of the Clinical Parasitology lab at Mayo Clinic. <br /><br />I apologize for any confusion!
