The treatment of this organism by antiprotozoal drugs can reduce the symptoms of the GI tract but may not eliminate the organism. There is a debate on its classification and pathology. It thought to be a yeast and then a protozoan but the scientists have agreed after gene sequencing to classified this organism under Stramenopiles group which includes brown algae, diatoms, etc. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14896609701501554748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629132641307534690.post-53812395070154172032017-03-07T13:48:28.018-06:002017-03-07T13:48:28.018-06:00Blastocystis sp.Blastocystis sp.Sugar Magnoliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17081429874378399282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629132641307534690.post-17835458931139642382017-03-07T13:04:43.196-06:002017-03-07T13:04:43.196-06:00I concur - or just Blastocystis.I concur - or just Blastocystis.Graham Clarknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629132641307534690.post-43197955721093046112017-03-07T12:50:32.539-06:002017-03-07T12:50:32.539-06:00Well, I'd suggest Blastocystis sp.
