This tiny adult worm can cause serious life-threatening disease. Identification? Where would you expect to find the adult and larval forms? CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE.
That looks like Echinococcus granulomas/multilucarus (spelling dubious!). If I'm not mistaken the adults are largely asymptomatic but if you eat larve then they form hydatic cysts in the brain/lungs which is extremely life threatening....
