It looks like Taenia saginata gravid proglottid
ReplyDeleteAgree, T. saginata over T. solium because the uterine branches are more than 15.
ReplyDeleteThere are more than 13 lateral uteral branches on each side, therefore I would agree that the object is a gravid proglotid of T. saginata.

T.saginata or (as stated in a previous case) T.asiatica, due to the number of uterine branches. Both species bear identical gross morphology, though T.saginata is more likely.
