Case of the Week 802

Apologies everyone for the delay in posting a case. I've been travelling a lot and just returned from South Korea. While I was there, I was offered the following dish consisting of raw crab and shrimp. If I had chosen to eat it (which I didn't), which parasites could I have acquired?

I would concur with Patrik’s statement.

Freshwater crabs and shrimp may host Paragonimus, and theoretically Gnathostoma and Sparganum. In case of ingesting marine crustaceans, probably only Anisakis.

Paragonimus westermani as well as Clonorchis sinensis. Clonorchiasis is a significant problem in Korea, China.

I love that parasitologist always have a lot of reservations when eating raw food hahahha. I thought that with raw crab or shrimp you can only acquire Paragonimus and the rest mentioned above were from raw fish.
Am I wrong?

Paragonimus westermani for the crab and shrimp. If fish (and squid) are involved, then Anasakis and Clonorchis would also be possibilities.
