Identification?
What are the identifying features of this case?

Plasmodium falciparum in what seems to be an 'acolé' ring form - ie hugging the membrane of the RBC.

Mourner's clefts are also visable (just!).... both of these are indicative of Pf and not the other species.

P falciparum, trophozoite, ring stage and have not seen
Plasmodium knowlesi ring stage
