Case of the Week 86

The following painless nodule was removed from the subcutaneous skin of the abdomen from an African male. He comments that the skin of his lower extremities is dry, focally depigmented, and extremely itchy.

I'll go for Wuchereria bancrofti - these are adult worms whilst the bottom pic shows a microfilariae.

Difficult to see the MF so hard to tell if it is Onchocerca or Wuchereria... but the clinical symptoms adds up to early Elephantitis...
