This week's case is from my archive and therefore it's a little yellow around the edges. However, it's still a neat case that I thought you might like:

It looks like Taenia saginata gravid proglottid
Agree, T. saginata over T. solium because the uterine branches are more than 15.
There are more than 13 lateral uteral branches on each side, therefore I would agree that the object is a gravid proglotid of T. saginata.

Taenia saginata..look at all of those branches! ;)

T.saginata or (as stated in a previous case) T.asiatica, due to the number of uterine branches. Both species bear identical gross morphology, though T.saginata is more likely.
