This is hard to believe, but I still remember as a young child, submitting to the scotch tape method at the Mayo Clinic. Why I remember it, I don't know…it certainly was not remembered as traumatic.

Very characteristic of a case of E. Vermiculate infection. The nocturnal pruritus must have caused some discomfort.

Eggs from Enterobius vermicularis. This can be also diagnosed by Graham technique, because the female lay her eggs perianal usually by night.
