Suspected Bertiella species ova
The general shape is more spherical than ovoid, there seems to be a visible hooklets inside the nucleus and no polar filament. As such, my vote would go for Hymenolepis diminuta which besides its name is lager in size than its nana.

BTW, what is the size of the egg? And was there contact with primates or their environment?

Great questions, Florida Fan. The object is approximately 80 micrometers in diameter. There is no known contact with primates.
