Merry Christmas to All: This must be Mrs. Claus Pediculus Humanus. May the parasites bring you Joy, Happiness and above all The Shared Wealth of Knowledge.
I've done some surfing on the web and found out that they are different species, though morfological indistinguishable. The Human Body Louse lays it's eggs on clothes and the Human Head Louse lays it's eggs on hair.
Every week I will post a new Case, along with the answer to the previous case. Please feel free to write in with your answers, comments, and questions. Also check out my image archive website at http://parasitewonders.com. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas to you !
Funny that it's called Body Louse.
In Dutch it's called Head Louse, because that's the place where you can find them.
May we get some nice interesting cases in 2013.
Season greetings,
Hans
