Case of the Week 256

Multiple hairs were submitted to the laboratory for microscopic examination.  Under the dissecting microscope, the following were seen:

Looks like a bad case of pubic lice. I recently heard that their habitat was threatened and that they may be on the road to extinction:

Phthirus pubis. Very nice pictures showing the ova also. Just a bit curious, we often find the female but not the male ones.
